Highliners from SA and abroad are invited to attend the first South African Highline Meeting which will be hosted at De Pakhuys in Rocklands from 15-25 May 2014
We’ll have 3 or 4 Highlines up (ranging from 18-70m long) a few shorter low lines in the campsite, a trickline, rodeoline and a long waterline. The Dam at Alpha Excelsior will also have 1 or 2 waterlines set up, perfect for those hot days!
We’ll also put up a highline training line for first timers at camp, possibly a tree midline too.
There won’t be any formal program for each day. We’ll basically be camping and highlining, so everyone is free to do as they please.
There will be lots of other activities such as Unicycles, Juggling, Poi’s, Swimming, Climbing, Yoga/SlackYoga/AcroYoga, Music jam-sessions (guitar, didjeridoo, djembe etc) so bring along your toys!
This is Rocklands, home to some of the best bouldering in the world, so don’t forget your climbing shoes!
